Say hello to Whitney and Cody. They are from Pampa, Texas and got engaged in May of his year after Whitney graduated high school. Whitney have known each other since they were kids and lived across the street from each other for part of that time.
Whitney is an amazing young woman we have the privilege to call both a client and our niece. Their session was an all day experience in and around Carlsbad, New Mexico. We took them to a sweet spot on the river that we love, Sitting Bull Falls, and in The Lincoln National Forest. I went for a very natural vibe without props, but beautiful and natural backgrounds. All of these locations are close to our new home, so we will be frequenting them more often for photoshoots.
In the above photo they were standing in the river.
They have their wedding set for October 31, 2020. Halloween is Whitney's favorite holiday. She is going to include many beautiful fall colors, pumpkins, marigolds, and touches of Hispanic Did De Los Muertos culture. I like to think her close connection with her uncle (Ben, my husband) and his culture plays into that a bit. Even though I think it is just that she loves the culture and holiday surrounding it so much.
We cannot wait to see where life is going to take them.
